Immunity improvement and gut microbiota remodeling of mice by wheat germ globulin

چکیده
The wheat germ protein (WG) and it’s proteolytic peptide have a variety of biological activities. Our previous work showed that WG could improve immunity the immunosuppressive mice established by cyclophosphamide. However, in healthy condition normal diet, as supplementary food, effects improvement gut microbiota remodeling globulin has not been studied yet. Here, we reported remodel mice, potentially safe functional food for first time. increase interleukin-6 (IL-6) decrease tumor necrosis factor α (TNF-α) interleukin-10 (IL-10) indicated enhance levels activated T cells monocytes anti-inflammatory ability, meanwhile, significant immunoglobin G (lgG) notable M (lgM) A (lgA) illustrated promoting differentiation maturation process B cells, compared with NC group (normal control group). 16S rRNA sequencing microbiota. At phylum level, Bacteroidetes were reduced Firmicutes increased group, group. genus SCFA producing genera unclassified_f_Lachnospiraceae, Blautia especially Roseburia (increased more than threefold) notably. Further, level changes cytokines immunoglobulins associated This potential application value an immune-enhancing food.

Recurrent infections are very common in children and a major challenge for pediatricians. They affect the children’s quality of life, cause absences from school and lost parental working days, and repeated medical examinations, hospital admissions as well as antibiotic therapies lead to high costs for society. Given their prevalence and clinical importance, various prevention strategies have be...

Atherosclerosis is a chronic inflammatory disease. Interventions targeting the inflammatory process could provide new strategies for preventing atherosclerotic cardiovascular diseases (CVD). Previously, we have reported that oral administration of anti-CD3 antibodies, or active vitamin D3, reduced atherosclerosis in mice via recruiting regulatory T cells and tolerogenic dendritic cells to the g...

Gut microbiota play critical physiological roles in energy extraction from the intestine and in the control of systemic immunity, as well as local intestinal immunity. Disturbance of gut microbiota leads to the development of several diseases, such as colitis, inflammatory bowel diseases, metabolic disorders, cancer, etc. From a metabolic point of view, the gut is a large metabolic organ and on...
